Description
Skincare Capsules is a blend of potent antioxidants and anti-inflammatories that may help the skin absorb the benefits of the sun while protecting against free radical damage from ultraviolet radiation. It promotes the body’s tolerance of UV light rays especially in persons with sensitive skin by suppressing inflammation and histamine levels. Baicalin may delay photoaging caused by UVA radiation. Polypodium Leucotomos helps combat environmental ageing caused by exposure to the sun, pollution, diet, and visible light occurring both indoors and outdoors, during any season.Â
Disclaimer: Skincare Capsules are not intended to replace sunscreen!!!
Ingredients
Baicalin
Baicalin a flavonoid antioxidant and the main active compound in Chinese Skullcap; reduces production of reactive oxygen species (ROS; free radical damage).
Polypodium leucotomos
Polypodium leucotomos extract - PLE (Phlebodium aureum) comes from a tropical blue-star fern plant. It is known to reduce sunburn, protect DNA by inhibiting the formation of cyclobutane pyrimidine dimers (cancer-causing cells) induced by UVB radiation, and to preserve skin tissue structure by inhibiting the infiltration of mast cells into the skin.
Astaxanthin
Astaxanthin is said to have many health benefits such as healthier skin, anti-oxidative effects, cell repair effects, heart health, increased endurance, relieving joint pain, and may even have a future in cancer treatment. Astaxanthin is a reddish pigment that belongs to a group of chemicals called carotenoids. Our astaxanthin is derived from algae that are grown under special conditions.
